Anne Barrett's 3rd Birthday

So...I'm still catching up on the fall activities and all the birthdays. We celebrated Anne Barrett's 3rd birthday on October 17. I can't believe how big she is getting! She LOVES Minnie Mouse, so we had a "Minnie" party, complete with mouse ears. She had so much fun with her friends. We had an informal gathering in the back yard and just let them all play. All the grandparents were in attendance as well. We love our Annie! Here is a slideshow of her birthday party and a few from Halloween. Stay tuned for Christmas and Ellie's birthday, coming up soon!

Another Year, Another House, and Birthdays

Well, it has now been over a year since I last posted to my blog. I can't believe how time has flown! Alex is now 14 months old, walking, and trying to talk. We have moved into a new house and had two birthday parties, with another one coming soon. Our sweet baby girl Alex has brought us so much joy this year! She is tiny, but full of energy and curiosity. She is very smart and independent. Her favorite word right now is "down," which means, "put me down, I want to run around!" In February we moved into a new house that has lots of room for us to grow. We have a playroom and an extra tv room upstairs. It will be great for entertaining when we get some more furniture:) The back yard is big and flat, so it is perfect for the kids. Our neighborhood also sits along Lake Tuscaloosa, so we had to do like the neighbors and get a golf cart so that we could ride it down to the lake. There is a playground and a community dock down the street. It is beautiful! Below is a picture of our new house. We love it!

Welcome, Alex!

Alexandra McCartney Little was born on September 6, 2011 at 10:13 a.m. She had a full head of hair, like all of our girls, and weighed 6 lbs, 9 oz. She is precious!! I can't wait for you all the meet her. She is healthy and loves to sleep :)

Ellie's 3rd Birthday, Recent Photos, and Baby #3

The title of this post is too long. That is because I don't post nearly often enough, and I have to group several events together. Oh well, better late than never! A lot has happened since January, namely, that we have another baby on the way! We found out just a couple of weeks after Ellie's birthday. It is like deja vu. We just did this, and we are doing it again! I find out in a few weeks what the gender is, and we are thoroughly excited! To catch up on the last few months, I put together a slideshow of Ellie's birthday and some more recent photos of the girls playing. They really have a good time, and we love to watch them! Our girls are such a joy, and we will be adding to the joy in September. Stay tuned!
