Mississippi Baby Shower

Here are some photos from the Mississippi baby shower this past weekend. It was so nice, and so much fun! We had some great food -- shrimp and grits, cream cheese biscuits, baked brie, breakfast casserole, fresh fruit, and blueberry poundcake. Yum! Wow, that is making me really hungry.

North Carolina Baby Shower

We had our first baby shower on October 27 in Concord, NC. It was mostly family and friends of the Littles. A couple of my friends surprised me by coming as well! My old friends Kara and Melissa from middle school came. We haven't seen each other in years! It was so much fun catching up. One of my best friends from college, Jessica, came as well. We got to meet her precious little baby Kathryn. I miss them so much! The shower was a lot of fun, and we got a truck load full of baby stuff.

Hubby has been diligent about purchasing diapers whenever we can. I hope they fit!

Here is me and my belly at 29 weeks. It is getting so close! I can't believe it. I am feeling Ellie move all the time, and she is getting so big! She is almost 3 pounds right now. It is so amazing how this little life is growing inside of me. Praise the Lord for his wonderful gift of creation!

Working on the Nursery

Here are our first two pieces of nursery furniture! Right now the rocking chair is in our living room and the crib is in our dining room since we don't have the nursery ready yet. My parents came up last weekend to help us paint, and last night Justin cleaned the carpets. We are actually getting some things done! It took us about a month to clean all the junk out of that room, but we are finally beginning to see some progress. I hope to have before & after pictures up soon. Here is what we have so far...
